Riverment develops environmental assessment projects for governments and utilities on water resource management. The main projects completed or in progress concern the development of innovative systems for biomonitoring, for the assessment of the ecological and hydromorphological water status and for the environmental assessment for the construction of works. Riverment has carried out projects in Italy, Cyprus, Serbia, Canada and Mozambique, working together with public institutions (Lombardia Region, Puglia Region, CNR-IRSA, ARPA Lombardia, Government of Cyprus - WDD), private companies and universities (University of New Brunswick, Canada).

• Ecological water status of Seveso river (MI) for Parco Nord Milano
• Ecological water status of Arno river (VA) within the river arrangement project's Environmental Monitoring Plan
• Biological water status of Bisagno river (GE) within its spillway construction project
• Biological (STAR_ICMi, i.e. Standardization of River Classification - Intercalibration Multimetric Index) and hydromorphological (IDRAIM, i.e. River Hydromorphology Analysis and Monitoring System) water status assessment and IARI (River Hydrological Alteration Index) calculation in several streams of Italy
• Bird and bat monitoring in wind farms' construction projects in Sicily (Italy)
